PÁS Junior & Malý (Little) Ensembles
Our children learn musical traditions, history, geography, language, and crafts which contribute to their own unique heritage. Their performances reflect the joy felt by children all over the world and all throughout history, as they bring the heritage of Slovakia alive.
The latest addition to PÁS, the Malý PÁS group, performs simple songs and dances designed to prepare our youngest members for the Junior Group. Malý PÁS includes performers from toddler ages to early grade school children.
In carrying on the Slovak tradition of a strong family culture, PÁS encourages a familial environment in which both parents and children are actively involved in celebrating our shared heritage. The group hosts multiple events that encourage children to learn about Slovak customs, such as a Children's Summer Camp, group picnics featuring Slovak-themed food and fun, and St. Nicholas Day treats!
Each year PÁS members and non-members alike participate in a Children's Summer Camp in which they learn about Slovak traditions and make crafts. The Junior and Malý groups proudly present their handicrafts alongside those of the adults as reminders of the artistic heritage we share with the people of Slovakia.
