For the third year, PÁS will become a part of Disney World's tradition of Magic Music Days, debuting a new 25-minute program.

60th Annual Slovak Day ................................... 10:00 AM, March 4th
                                                             Slovak Winter Garden Complex
                                                                     3110 Howell Branch Road 
                                                                                   Winter Park, FL
PÁS will present a 25 minute program of songs and dances from many regions of Slovakia. Festivities begin with a Mass celebrated in Slovak; celebrant to be announced. Following the liturgy, a delicious luncheon featuring a variety of homemade Slovak culinary specialties will be served
 in the social hall. Music for dancing and listening pleasure will be
provided throughout the day. Guests may also visit the collections
 located in the Slovak Museum located on the grounds.

Tickets prices for the luncheon to be announced. Doors open at 10:00

PÁS performs for the Center for Hearing & Deaf Services, Inc. (HDS)
 Sign-A-Thon 2011, which will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2011 from
 noon-3pm at Robinson Mall. The Deaf, DeafBlind, Hard-of-Hearing, and Hearing communities are all invited to enjoy an afternoon of socializing, entertainment, information tables, children's crafts, and more! Opera Theatre Summerfest Fringe Festival .................................................................... 6:00 - 6:30 PM, July 7th

The SummerFest Fringe includes Free Family Fun Afternoons. Families
are invited to the grounds of The Hillman Center for Performing Art for afternoon activities, outdoor performances and fun, featuring animals, singers, dancers, magicians and more for kids of all ages. Fabled Table will provide pre-ordered and on-site picnic fare.

Slovak Day at Kennywood Park ........ 2:00 PM & 5:00 PM, July 19th

Enjoy the children's performance at 2:00 PM and visit the PÁS booth for the children's display which depicts “Popoluška”, the Slovak Cinderella Story

At 5:00 PM the PÁS Adult group presents its premiere performance in Pittsburgh of dances from the Horehron Region of Slovakia, featuring the precision and beauty of stamping and rhythmic movements.  The program comes alive with the Horehronsky Dupak, in which the young men and women impress each other with unique stamping and dancing skills.  

Additional event highlights include performances by the Pittsburgh Slovakians, the Slovak Food Kitchen featuring traditional Slovak entrees and delicacies, and a Slovak Mass. More details coming soon.

                                                        International Village Main Pavilion 
This annual international 3-day heritage festival includes, ethnic foods,
items for sale, and performances. Look for PÁS's booth at the Craft
Pavilion, where we will be selling Christmas ornaments and other gifts

New Jersey Slovak Festival ... 9:00AM - 6:00PM Sunday, Sept. 23rd

This popular East-coast event features free all day entertainment, including a performance by the Pittsburgh Area Slovak Folk Ensemble, as well as a Slovak Mass. Slovak food, activities for children, and craft vendors will also be available. Stop by the PÁS booth where we will be selling Christmas ornaments and other Slovak gifts.

Czech and Slovak Heritage Association Annual Festival .........................................................October 28th, 12:00 - 6:00 PM

                                                                  Parkville, Maryland 21234
Festival Features include Dinner by Bohemian Catering, traditional
dances by CSHA Children's Language School, a performance by PÁS,
a Children's Corner, dancing to music by Joy of Maryland, and vendor exhibits. Admission is $5.00.

21st Annual Slovak Heritage Festival ........ 2:00 PM November 4th 
                                                                      University of Pittsburgh
                                               Cathedral of Learning, Commons Room 
                                                                                   Pittsburgh, PA
This event is from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and features musical 
performances by folk dancing groups and singers as well as cultural 
displays and lectures. Slovak Food will be available for sale, as well as
a variety of items from Slovak and East European import vendors. Free Admission. For more information about this event click here.

Pittsburgh's Light Up Night events. 

Slovak Vigília.................................. 6:00 PM, December 7th

The Vigília (va-LĒĒ-yah), "vigil", is the Slovak Christmas Eve
Holy Supper (Christmas eve dinner)  and  is a meatless meal to
commemorate Christ’s birth.  Without a doubt, it is one of the
most awaited and alluring days of the Christmas season.  The
Slovak people call it “štědrý večer” – meaning “bountiful evening.” 
It is a meatless meal of traditional foods. PAS will provide Slovak dancing and singing.
