July 15th Kennywood Park West Mifflin, PA Junior Group Performance begins at 2:00 PM. Adult Group Performance begins at 5:00 PM. PÁS performs a new program each year at Kennywood's Slovak Day. Additional event highlights include performances by the Pittsburgh Slovakians, a St. Nicolas display created by the PÁS Junior Group, a Slovak folk costume display, and the Slovak Food Kitchen featuring traditional Slovak entrees and delicacies. Slovak Mass begins at 4:00 PM and will be celebrated by Bishop Brandt of the Diocese of Greensburg, as well as Slovak clergy from both the Pittsburgh and Greensburg Dioceses. Musical entertainment by George Biyti for your dancing and listening pleasure to follow the cultural program. The American Ambassador to Slovakia and the mayor of Prešov are expected to be in attendance. International Village ................................... 8:30 PM, August 19th Renziehausen Park McKeesport, PA The group will be the finale performance of this three-day event (scheduled for 8:30, August 19th). This annual international heritage festival begins on August 17th and runs through the 19th and includes, ethnic foods, items for sale, and performances. Look for PÁS's booth at the Craft Pavilion, where we will be selling Christmas ornaments and other gifts from Slovakia. For more information about this event click here. 39th Annual Cleveland Slovak Heritage Festival ......................... .............................................................. 3:00 PM, September 5th St. Anthony of Padua School 6750 State Rd. Parma, OH This event is sponsored by the Slovak Radio Club of Cleveland. The Festival begins at 12:00 noon and will last until 8:00 P.M. Admission is $6.00; tickets can be purchased at the gate. Slovak food will be also be available for purchase. Look for PÁS's table, where we will be selling Christmas ornaments and other gifts from Slovakia. The featured entertainment will include the folk dancing groups, PÁS Folk Ensemble and the Lučinka Lučina Jr. group, as well as Slovak music bands. |

The Third Annual Heritage Holidays Weekend at the Heinz History Center ....................
